Aerosmith reschedules Cleveland stop of PEACE OUT tour after Steven Tyler damages vocal cords

CLEVELAND , Ohio - Steven Tyler was “heartbroken” over having to postpone several shows on Aerosmith ’s PEACE OUT tour after suffering damage to his vocal cords.The 4-time Grammy winners will rock Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Sept. 29, just over a year after they were originally slated to perform on Sept. 21, 2023.Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 12 atThe concert was first rescheduled for Feb. 29, but that the historic farewell tour had to be pushed back again.

Frontman and rock icon Steven Tyler shared the following statement on Sept. 12, 2023, explaining the postponement: “I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days. I sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show that led to subsequent bleeding. We’ll need to postpone a few dates so that we can come back and give you the performance you deserve.”

Aerosmith confirmed that all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates, and refunds will be available for those unable to attend.Copyright 2023 WOIO. All rights reserved.
