Wasn't there recently another news story about people continuing to work long past retirement age? Could helping adult children (and 30 yrs of large mortgage payments) explain why they're still working?
I did and it was worth it to give my grandchildren a better home to live in.
But jobs are plentiful, the economy is working better than ever, so what's the problem? There is clearly a disconnect somewhere. I don't think we just have a nation of greedy adult children.
