Addison Rae Reveals Her Top Tip for Sliding Into the DMs

“For a flirting DM it’s like oh gosh, should I slide up? Should I send them a heart? It’s like more hesitant for sure,” she said of considering a flirty DM on social media.

“I think it’s definitely possible to have a successful relationship through DMs. I mean, I think like, starting in DMs is what I mean. I feel like that comes hand in hand with dating apps in a way because Instagram can be a dating app in a way.” She also talked about DM regrets: “There’s 100% been many times when I’ve DM-ed like big celebrities and even now, I’ll realize I DM-ed them like years ago and then I’ll see that now and I’m like oh my gosh…it’s so embarrassing,” she said.

Plus, she offered her advice for DMing: “My top advice for DM-ing overall would for sure be like be confident, have fun with it, slide up on a story. That’s a really good one! I think that sliding up on stories is my key point if you’re sliding into the DMs and it feels award or you don’t know what to say.”
