Inside a 165-year-old NYC townhouse that just found a buyerThe current seller is Ronnie Planalp, a founder and producer at Clear Eye Productions, a documentary film production company that has produced two award-winning docs, “They Came to Play” and “Shakespeare High.” Planalp, who launched her career at Goldman Sachs, is also a theater producer in London and New York, and a board member at Film at Lincoln Center.
At 20 feet wide, the five-story residence is a spacious 7,300 square feet and sits on a charming block between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West. It features five bedrooms, five baths and two powder rooms.Built in 1899, the home boasts 11-foot ceilings, large windows, a terrace off the living room that overlooks a landscaped garden, a library, a study/office, an eat-in chef’s kitchen and multiple woodburning fireplaces.
