Antonio Lorca, the renowned critic from El Pais newspaper, wrote activists criticizing Morante “refuse to respect the legitimate tastes of others.”“An anti-bullfighting activist can think that a bullfighter is a torturer for the death of a bull, but not because he pulls a handkerchief and wipes the animal’s forehead,” he wrote.

Spain needs to stop this very cruel entertainment. We are in the 21st century and bullfighting is evil, torturing the poor animals for entertainment is wrong.

I find nothing corageous about a man who kills an animal which has no way out. This is an abhorrent practice and Spain should be ashamed of promoting it.
