1 verdict, then 6 police killings across America in 24 hoursAt least six people were fatally shot by officers across the United States in the 24 hours after jurors reached a verdict in the murder case against Chauvin on Tuesday. For others, the shootings are a tragic reminder of the difficult and dangerous decisions law enforcement face daily. Forcing armed confrontations with law enforcement officers is dangerous. I advise against it. I live in Milw WI. & in the last wk or so, there were least 3 or more shoot & kill. Add this to th doz’s & ovr th yrs, 100’s arnd here, that r the result of blk on blk crim, NOT cop on blk crim. & I bet it’s th same in cities like Chic. where 97 perc of cops r gd hon intel pep. So if I lived in a high crime part of the city, Milw or anywhere else, I’d be way more worried about the guy in the conv store in the hoodie or the other guy on the street walking past me on the st at night, than any cop in a patrol car.
