However, the wrinkle for Weekend 2 is that we're expecting a very warm Friday ahead of a frontal boundary that will really drop our temperatures on Saturday and Sunday.Friday morning will start with clouds, and even pockets of drizzle. Morning clouds will give way to a very warm afternoon. We expect high temperatures will reach the low to mid 90s just ahead of an afternoon cold front.
This cold front will not bring any rain, but plan on a breezy evening behind the front with gusts up to 25 miles per hour from the north. Behind our cold front, Saturday morning will be cool and breezy with temperatures in the 50s. The afternoon will be gorgeous with a sunny sky and highs in the low 80s. Viewing conditions for the annular solar eclipse will also be fantastic. Enjoy!
Sunday morning will be even cooler with 50s and even some upper 40s for the chilliest locations. The afternoon will be sunny with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 70s. Just perfect weather for the final day of ACL!Temperatures will vary during Weekend 2, but rain chances will be slim to none, so plan on enjoying yourself as you head out to Zilker Park without the threat of any rain.
