Republican Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa said the abortion bill before the Senate is being discussed for"political purposes."
He said that Democrats are using the leaked Supreme Court document to"push radical legislation" that goes beyond the public opinion and common-sense abortion laws. While in Oklahoma over the weekend, Lankford had a conversation with an individual who is pro-choice and wanted to discuss abortion rights. He shared part of their conversation on the Senate floor.
