Since S.B. 8 went into effect on September 1, abortion providers in neighboring states have reported a drastic increase in patients from Texas. Planned Parenthood Rocky Mountains, which covers New Mexico, Colorado and southern Nevada, has seen a 50 percent increase in patients from Texas across all of their health centers.
