Women in Alaska will still be able to access abortions following today's Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade. But abortion opponents have said they see a constitutional convention as the likeliest path toward an abortion ban in the state.

that “reproductive rights are fundamental, and that they are encompassed within the right to privacy expressed in article I, section 22 of the Alaska Constitution.”A different path toward altering that section of the state constitution involves a constitutional amendment passed by the Alaska Legislature.

Even if a constitutional convention is called, it’s not guaranteed that it will result in an abortion ban in Alaska. Vote NO on convening AK constitutional convention.

Unless it is included as an amendment to the state constitution

NoConstitutionalConvention Alaska Current constitution in Alaska protects women's rights.

The same group that looked for bamboo fibers and satellite controlled voting machines wants to rewrite the best constitution in the United States. It would be an uninformed circus with superstitious sloganeers & demon exorcists cursing at phantom crises, no debating. I vote no.

I'm curious why so many people consider killing an unborn child their preffered method of birth control.

Making abortion illegal in Alaska may better mitigate organ/human/sex trafficking magnet status. And better mitigate serial homicides; Alaska has a lot of missingpersons without photo bulletin FindTheMissing

Today is a wonderful day! Now time to make it illegal to kill more kids in Alaska

For now. Don’t get to comfortable folks.

Translation: 'abortion opponents' = people who hate women.

Everyone in Alaska vaguely left of center needs to organize to make sure this does not happen. Easily the most important fight we've had in decades
