Astroworld Festival victims Rudy Peña, 23, from top left, Mirza Baig, 27; Madison Dubiski, 23; John Hilgert, 14; Brianna Rodriguez, 16; Axel Acosta, 21; Jacob Jurinek, 20; Franco Patiño, 21; Bharti Shahani, 22; and Ezra Blount, 9. “A consistent permitting process could have helped establish jurisdiction and authority over ultimate event shutdown in the face of a life-threatening incident,” the report reads.

The investigation also revealed crucial decisions made during the planning of the event, including the venue layout, that experts said increased the likelihood something would go wrong and limited the ability of authorities to manage a crisis. The task force additionally highlighted the need for adequate training of security guards, though it did not recommend specific rules or guidelines. It also advised event promoters to team up with artists to encourage safe behavior, “since messaging from the artist can be uniquely persuasive for fans.”- continued to meet to review communication, protocols and permitting requirements locally. City officials had more to say about that task force’s work than the one in Austin.

Analysis: Texas’ new standard is abortions for those who can afford to leave Texas.rossramsey writes: The Texas ban on abortions after six weeks effectively makes abortions illegal for most pregnant people – but not everyone. Just those who can afford to travel out-of-state or to other countries. rossramsey If you even know you’re pregnant within two weeks of a missed period (if your cycles are regular.) rossramsey The poor remain without resource. The hope of the wealthy anti-choice is more newborn adoption (which is NOT pregnancy choice) and that adoption will generate thousands and thousands of dollars for the private agency broker. It's money, not caring about a fetus. voteblue rossramsey I hope 🤞🏾 someone sues the state for child support: for a forced pregnancy.

Video: Texas produce industry will feel long-term impacts of Gov. Greg Abbott’s vehicle inspection programIn this video, see the impact of Abbott’s increased border inspections on produce importers, fruit stand vendors and truck drivers on both sides of the Texas-Mexico border. Oh no, not the fruit stand vendors. Won’t somebody please think of the fruit stand vendors?! Maybe Mexico should stop facilitating the trafficking of millions of people to our border, and we won’t have to check the trucks coming through to make sure people aren’t sweltering to death inside of them? All Abbott was doing is a safety check after they were inspected for contraband. This was strictly done to slow down truckers to cost the state and nation money and empty store shelves. That what DanPatrick told fox entertainment. Make the democrats look bad.
