A new trail will link Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington and more cities. What should it be called?

The North Central Texas Council of Governments has narrowed the name to two possibilities — DFW Discovery Trail and DFW Trinity Trail — and is asking people to choose their favorite.In addition to the name, participants are asked to choose between two logo options. Both the name and logo choices were developed with public input through a virtual open house last year.

The trail will connect existing trails, including Trinity Skyline Trail in Dallas, Fort Worth Trinity Trails, Campion Trail in Irving and River Legacy Trail in Arlington.

How about allow some electric-scooters on this? And bring the electric scooters back to town. You could even make the Scooter company install a geofence, so the scooters only work in that area… and they have capacity to require scooters parked in specific locations.

DFW Trinity Trail is okay. It's descriptive. Discovery trail is so generic and lame. Can't wait for the opening. Hope there is a there-n-back ride. That'll be a beatdown!
