BCBSAssociation because parents go out of their way to find someone, anyone who will diagnose their kid

BCBSAssociation So they’re simply casting a wider net to sell more meds and get more funding for schools.

BCBSAssociation MsBSK

BCBSAssociation Is this a direct result of more having this disease or changes in the definition of ADHD?

BCBSAssociation I wish this article addressed if this number is accounted for by the number of uninsured kids who were insurable after the ACA went into effect.

BCBSAssociation And of course, here come all of the “experts” blaming flour, parenting, phones and the government.

BCBSAssociation Scary statistic, but I have to wonder if this has to do with misdiagnosis given the staggering number of children with trauma. If you missed it, our survey found 2/3 of kids with RAD are first misdiagnosed with ADHD.

BCBSAssociation Kids r pumped full of toxins (drugs/GMO’s/ copious processed seed oils/sugars/grains) & allowed constant exp to EMF’s & blue light. We alter their microbiome, mayb their brain waves, & r surprised if they struggle when something as powerful as hormones begin to rock their world?

BCBSAssociation As a psychiatrist treating only children & adolescents, I agree ADHD is overdiagnosed. Sometimes, kids are distractible because they're anxious, tired, or hungry. Or no longer have recess/PE, are bored. Or classroom (or home) is chaos. It takes time & effort to find the reason.

BCBSAssociation If it had been a fad in the 80s like it is today, then i would have been one of the unlucky over-medicated. My attention span for boring things was 0, but i got through it - it's lazy parenting to pump kids w/ pills.

BCBSAssociation What this means is that teachers and parents are recognizing this problem that has impacted learning for decades.

BCBSAssociation Over diagnosed, over medicated

BCBSAssociation Definition: ADHD=Government Supressing parenting That’s why it rose 30%, blame on Anything to get the kids hooked on Drugs to pepetulate opioid abuse For the next 60 years through Rx

BCBSAssociation That’s cause parents want something to blame for their kids’ shitty grades. So they go to doctors who will prescribe heroin to drug addicts. Kids are wild. It was called ants in the pants once which isn’t a nifty acronym but far mor scientific.

BCBSAssociation Diet. Soda. Sugar. White flour. Dead animals. Non-human mother's milk.

BCBSAssociation Hey! It beats going after real illnesses.
