Solar Sisters and U.S. company Palmetto are partnering to expand the delivery of clean energy to homes across Africa

is a venture run by women for women, to train and support them to create a business and deliver clean energy to underserved communities. So far, they have launched more than 4,000 entrepreneurs and supplied nearly two million people who are off-grid across Nigeria and Tanzania with solar energy and clean cookstoves., a farmer and single mum of five children, became a Solar Sister entrepreneur in 2016.

Over the next five years Solar Sister plans to reach 10 million people across Africa with durable solar power.“Solar Sister is a great partnership as it enables Palmetto to match the purchase of our customer’s solar power with solar donations to those in need in East and West Africa,” said Kemper in a statement. “On a personal level, going back to my origins in the sector, this feels very wholesome and is certainly well aligned with our company values.

“This source of energy is not only great for the environment, but it could also range to savings on utility bills, increase in the overall value of your home, as well as the large number of state and federal tax credits a customer could qualify for.” Solar Sister CEO, Katherine Lucey, embraces the chance to connect with a like-minded company on a mission to democratize sustainable energy at a grassroots level.

“I am especially grateful to work with Palmetto to create an opportunity for their customers to share their commitment to clean energy with communities in Africa,” she says. “This partnership is a fantastic example of how two organizations working with common purpose and shared values are able to achieve something greater than either of us could do alone.”

Why is this not front page news everywhere? The only story bigger than this is the corruption in the White House. What a shame it is for America to see the world as a mirror Ah the common denominator. No statistical analysis needed.

Splash underneath zesty mayo waterfalls or just kick back and relax while you’re misted by a fine spray of shelf-stable condiments at Burger Sauce Beach. Your scenic ride ends at the cholesterol-free canola dressing wave pool—or you can hop back on the river and ride it again!” Leal declined to comment on recent reports of slippery guests injuring themselves while attempting to exit the mayo river.
