A growing dent in Earth's magnetic field over South America and the southern Atlantic Ocean could pose a risk to spacecraft and satellites.

This evolving weak spot in the magnetic field, called the South Atlantic Anomaly, is being monitored by NASA, but the space agency said it will not affect us here on Earth. The magnetic field protects us, acting as a shield against the solar wind -- stream of charged particles and radiation -- that flows out from the sun. This field's protection also extends to include satellites orbiting close to Earth. But the South Atlantic Anomaly is allowing solar particles to get closer than before.

Hey, CNN. When you gonna cover the kenosha ?

Make Anomalies Great Again!

Of course stars/planets influence also the earth, but influence an single individual human as in context of others. Some people can feel eruptions on the Sun or something weird happening without seeing the news, but because they´re not universe expert they understand later via news

Even if it did, NASA as a government agency, will not tell us.

That image looks like a 4 yr old made it with a crayon.

The number of comments treating this as a politically motivated article is troubling. What you are reading is called “science.” It is ok to report on science. Carry on. 🤦‍♂️✌️

Only CNN reports this crap. Notice it's not supposed to affect us
