A person in Washington state who died last week has since been confirmed to have had the coronavirus, bringing the total number of deaths so far in the state up to seven.
State and local health departments have the most up-to-date information on coronavirus cases, the CDC said Tuesday. There have been concerns that the CDC is not being upfront about how many cases are being tested.
