Thanks to a Whipple supercharger, the Super Snake can make over 830 hp, and gets a range of modifications to keep it all under control. Shelby American will make just 250 Super Snakes for American enthusiasts, and a limited amount more for buyers in other countries. Shelby American has unveiled its first product based on the new generation, 2024 S650 Ford Mustang, and it's a doozy.
Through careful engineering, we were able to add much more power while working to keep the weight more balanced with a new aluminum hood and carbon fiber fenders that also redirect the wind for ultimate cooling, said Vince La Violette, Shelby American's VP of operations. Our lightweight magnesium alloy wheels cut pounds off the rotating mass so you can run deeper into and accelerate faster out of the corner.
