Data released Friday by the New York Police Department (NYPD) shows that 81 percent of coronavirus enforcement summonses from March 16 to May 5 were issued to black and Latino residents.

"Of the 374 summonses issued in regard to social distancing, the respondents for 193 of those summonses are black and the respondents for 11 of those summonses are Hispanic," an NYPD press release said.

Whites, who are 32 percent of the population of New York City, only received 51 summonses, accounting for 13 percent of them.

NYGovCuomo They know the stats will get released to the public. And all that shows is that they don’t care! We must demand better. Leadership should uphold a higher standard

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣!!! Racists much?

The NYPDShea need to address the other shit that is happening around the city rather than target the people who don't have an alternative means of transportation, how about issuing more speeding tickets to the morons who thinks the BQE-Belt Pkwy- SI Expressway are race tracks.

Or perhaps the blacks and Latinos are more likely to violate the law. Very misleading headline. Did you independently verify of they were innocent or whether the tickets were issued out of bias? Nobody addresses the elephant in the room for the sake of political correctness.

So stupid.

Well, if Cuomo would let New Yorkers back to work instead of holding them hostage for a handout for his debt then this wouldn't be an issue.

Typical Low Lifes

Different people in different regions come to the US and make it, so there is no doubt we should cherish the relationship between most Americans that contribute to the US most and people from other countries who contribute not that much.

Pandemic racial profiling

Democrats are the party of slavery - why are we surprised?

Cuomo and Diblasio allow this to happen all the time in their Democrat state.

But it doesn't have to be the new stop and frisk if people would just follow the rules and STAY INSIDE!!!!!

Blacks and Latinos overwhelmingly ticketed by NYPD for social distancing violationsMore than 80 percent of those who were issued summonses for social distancing violations in New York City were people of color, according to data released Friday, confirming what advocates and local elected leaders have clamored about after the enforcement started over six weeks ago. Dont make it about race again. If you are in NYC its so diverse that whites seem to be the minority. Just go to the arrival section at JFK airport ! Apparently they don’t listen to authority well? Democrats are racists

NYPD Officer Hopes Black Teen Only Coughing Because He Just Choked HimNEW YORK—Expressing concerns about contracting Covid-19 from the interaction, NYPD officer Bruce MacLeod confirmed Thursday that he hoped a local black teen was only coughing because he had just been choking him. “Oh God, please let that be a barely clinging-to-life cough and not a dry cough,” said MacLeod, explaining that he should have followed police protocol and donned a mask before forcibly cutting off the unarmed black teen’s airway with a nightstick. “I promised my wife and kids that until this pandemic is behind us, I would just shoot black teens from a safe distance, but unfortunately, I got carried away. I didn’t even think twice about going in and suffocating him because it’s such a habit to beat these black kids to a pulp. And given that seven of us tackled him, it might mean we all have it.” At press time, MacLeod slowly sang the alphabet song twice while washing the black teen’s blood off his hands. holy shit too soon. Jesus 😂
