8 TV Shows That Got Canceled By Two Different Networks

Scrubs season 7 was disrupted by the 2007 Writers Guild of America strike, which possibly contributed to it being canceled after the seventh season by ABC, its original network. It was then revived by NBC. Scrubs was canceled after season 9 with little fanfare, as a show that almost ended several times before. The show was then unrecognizable from its original premise and most of the major stars had found other work.

When it arrived via Pop TV, the One Day at a Time season 4 premiere incorporated a joke at Netflix's expense. However, the joke lost some of its impact when the show was canceled again less than a year later. Pop TV seemed eager about One Day at a Time and heavily promoted it, but its success was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The show was looking for another home, but nothing ever came of this, and One Day at a Time season 5 seems unlikely now.
