Another change that occurs to The Last Airbender's world after the show's conclusion is the emergence of professional bending. The sport becomes massively popular in Republic City, and Korra takes a particular liking to it after moving there from the Southern Water Tribe. With that in mind, it's interesting to consider how Aang might have felt about the new sport.

Aang was a member of Republic City's council, which implies he had a hand in the organization of the new world government, but it's still unclear exactly how involved in that process he was. Presumably, Aang would have had other duties to attend to as the Avatar, so he couldn't have been there for everything.

Another interesting thing Aang: The Last Airbender can explore is what Aang is like as a father. After the war, Aang and Katara have three children: Bumi, Tenzin, and Kya. Based on Aang's character in The Last Airbender, it seems like he would be a wise and loving father, and while there is no reason to believe that he wasn't, The Legend of Korra hints that he might not have been as good of a father as he could have been.
