7 Jedi Missing From Luke Skywalker's New Jedi Order (Who Should Be Alive)

There are many Order 66 survivors or Force-sensitives who should have become part of Luke Skywalker's Jedi Order in Star Wars' New Republic Era, yet who seem to be strangely absent. The story of Luke Skywalker's Jedi Order is still largely untold in Star Wars canon, in part because the sequel trilogy chose to jump to the aftermath - after the destruction of Luke's Jedi Temple on Ossus, and the apparent deaths of his recruits.

7 Sabine Wren Originally introduced in Star Wars Rebels as a Mandalorian warrior, Sabine Wren is becoming a Jedi even without the Force. This isn't a contradiction; even Master Yoda insisted being a Jedi isn't about being able to call on the Force, but rather is about a philosophy and mindset. Sabine is attempting to cultivate this mindset in Ahsoka, with a particular focus on lightsaber training given her Mandalorian heritage.

5 Grogu Another Order 66 survivor, Grogu has shown hints of how powerful he is in the Force since his introduction in The Mandalorian season 1. Grogu has become more powerful after training with Luke, but he chose to leave Luke and his official Jedi training behind, instead choosing the way of the Mandalorians and returning to Din Darin. Had Grogu been a full-time pupil in the new Jedi Order, there is no telling how his abilities would have increased.

2 Ezra Bridger The Jedi Padawan of Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger was exiled to another galaxy shortly before the events of the Star Wars original trilogy. He's received training from a real Jedi Knight from the days before the Empire, and his natural abilities have only increased through training. Ahsoka has recently brought Ezra back, but again it feels as though his story is tied to events in The Mandalorian era.
