Columbus police are investigating after a 60-year-old man died early Wednesday following a shooting at a home in North Linden that also left another man wounded.Responding officers found 60-year-old Ronald Price, of the Northeast Side, with a gunshot wound, as well as a 37-year-old man who had been wounded.
Price was rushed to OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital, where he died at 1:38 a.m. Wednesday. The surviving victim, who was also taken to Riverside hospital and is expected to survive, told police that he was in a separate room at the home when he heard shots being fired. The surviving man said he went to see what happened and was going to Price's aid when he was also shot. He did not know what had led up to the shooting, according to police.
Police have not released any further information about the shooting, including information about any potential suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 614-645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS.
