Ryan's lack of culinary skills was baffling, as the quality of his dishes fell short of the high standards expected on a luxury yacht. One incident that highlighted Ryan's inadequacies as a chef was during an English high tea service, where his offerings were terrible. This ultimately led to Captain Jason firing Ryan.
