Washington Fifty prominent men, including business leaders, athletes and actors, are backing a proposal that would pay moms $2,400 a month for their"unpaid labor at home," as record numbers of women have left the workforce due to the coronavirus pandemic and the economic crisis.
In an open letter published as a full-page ad in The Washington Post, the group of men, some of whom are fathers, call on Congress to pass the"Marshall Plan for Moms" that will get women back to work. The letter includes NBA star Steph Curry, former NFL player Victor Cruz, actors Don Cheadle and Colin Farrell, craigslist founder Craig Newmark, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, and New York City mayoral candidate Andrew Yang.

There are so many people that have kids just so that they can lean on the GOV. This, as good and positive as the intent is would only enable those that lean on the GOV. Those same ppl do VERY little at home as they are looking for a free ride.
My bro has a housewife, 3 autistic kids, and he does more than her while working from home. So, why pay someone for hardly working for their own family? This will only lead to rampant abuse of fraud and skyrocketing divorce rates. And then, no women working at all.
How about paying working mothers more because their shift continues after working hours.
