Rest assured though that plenty of parents can vouch for the fact that while parental love is unique and special, so is all love. The first thought is... I guess they can’t... Then it’s “you still have a life that doesn’t revolve around parental responsibilities - and probably a shit load of money in the bank” then it’s “but I wouldn’t change a thing”

I have no children..never been married, 28 years old..yes. alot of cruel comments of how I'm not fulfilling my womanly duties..what I'm missing out on...I chose not to have children..until I meet a man grounded in God's love as I am..then God will lead us into His plans ❤

I've been told I'm selfish, and that I was going to regret not having children. That last remark got a 'NO, I'm NOT.' The person shut up PDQ.

I’m single and don’t have kids, but I do take care of my nieces and nephews. People have said these comments to me in the past, it’s not I don’t want to have kids. Just haven’t found anybody to have kids

I haven't experienced too many comments like these re: not having kids. I have encountered a lot more judgement and invasive questioning about the fact that I don't drink alcohol and never have. I don't feel the need to defend myself for my choice at age 47. Take it or leave it.

I’ve experienced most of these comments at some point 😢
