BOISE, Idaho —Tia Garcia is accused of aiding in the prisoner escape and a police shooting at Saint Alphonsus on March 20.
As officers were preparing to leave to transport Meade back to IDOC, an accomplice, now known as Nicholas Umphenour, fired at the officers and struck two of them, police saidwere arrested. Additional charges of aiding and abetting were brought in Ada County where Garcia has now been booked and is currently in jail.
