A Woodstown man died of his injuries after two vehicles collided head-on Jan. 5 in Salem County.

The crash occurred shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Hawks Bridge Road in Carneys Point Township, according to Carneys Point Police Lt. Joseph Racite. The 44-year-old Woodstown resident was driving a Jeep Wrangler that collided with a Nissan Murano driven by a 29-year-old Pedricktown woman.While the crash remains under investigation, icy road conditions appear to be a contributing factor, Racite said.Our journalism needs your support.
