He was booked into Dallas County Jail and his bail is set at $1.25 million.
It was unclear if he has an attorney to represent him in the murder case. According to court records, Jackson also faces an assault charge. An attorney listed in court records for the assault charge did not respond to a request for comment.Officers responded to the 2500 block of Perryton Drive, off of South Hampton road about 9:20 p.m. Tuesday. The victim, 40-year-old Geoffrey Jones was transported to the hospital where he died.
