Bruce family to sell its Bruce's Beach property back to LA County for $20 million'They (the Bruce family) feel what is best for them is selling this property back to the County for nearly $20 million and finally rebuilding the generational wealth they were denied for nearly a century. This is what reparations look like and it is a model that I hope governments across the country will follow,' said Janice Hahn, Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors chair, in a written statement. People forget, you're not allowed to buy beach property now in LAC. If you own one, you can only sell it back to the county. Wow. Reparations. Btw, 20 mil ain’t shit for that property. I guess they saw the annual property tax bill.

Family to sell Bruce's Beach property back to L.A. County for nearly $20 millionCounty officials say the Bruce family has agreed to sell the Bruce's Beach property in Manhattan Beach back to Los Angeles County for nearly $20 million. And turn it into affordable housing land. If Manhattan beach residents complain tell them to shut up, cause at least the Bruce family did their part to help where they haven't. What was the Bruce family paid back when the property was condemned? What was its actual fair market value then? This sets a bad precedent. What if that were a home and YOU owned it? Does this mean you get your house stolen from you when you had nothing to do with the original incident? And what about those who have had their home stolen due to 'eminent domain'?
