Montclair police have made additional arrests in the confrontation between two teenagersthat resulted in the shooting death of one boy and the stabbing of another.
On Feb. 14, police served search warrants in Pomona and arrested three residents of that city: Isaac Banuelos 20, Victor Avina, 20, and a 16-year-old boy, according to a post on theCharges include murder, gang enhancement and accessory to murder after the fact. Firearms were seized, the post said. The 15-year-old boy who was killed, identified by family as Omar Espinoza Rivera of Chino, was not a gang member, police said.
During the fight, the suspect, a 17-year-old, was stabbed. He recovered and was arrested on suspicion of murder on Feb. 4.
