Three drowning calls, in three days, all of them are children from across the Phoenix area. 'It's been a long time since we've had this many drownings this close together ...'

, saying in part, "Lorenzo has had no brain activity and was disconnected from the EEG machine this morning."in Phoenix. Firefighters say he was in critical condition from the accident and died at the hospital.

"This is something that we don't need to be dealing with. This is something that we've been saying for years and years and years. It is something that is preventable," Schmidt says. "Immediately start CPR. Give five breaths, and then those compressions and do the two breaths after that over and over and over again," she explained.
