by Alton Worley II, KOMO News StaffImage of a .380 caliber handgun. and .25 caliber handgun recovered from home robbery suspects. Three people are in jail after invading a Sequim home and holding its occupants at gunpoint while they allegedly robbed them.
Clallam County Sheriff’s deputies and Sequim police officers responded to reports of a home invasion robbery in the area of Riverside Rd. in Sequim on March 28th, 2024, at about 5:15 a.m. The person who called 911 said people wearing face masks showed up in a white SUV at his house with guns. Police said the suspects were in an unattached portion of the home holding three people at gunpoint.
While at gunpoint, the victims were ordered to empty their pockets and give the robbery suspects their belongings, which police said included their phones and car keys. Power tools and their batteries were also stolen. The robbery suspects were stopped by law enforcement and detained after attempting to flee the home in their SUV.Police found the following after searching the robbery suspect’s vehicle:A cell phone stolen from one of the victims.The suspects were arrested and booked into jail for first degree robbery, first degree burglary, and third degree theft.
