U.S. deliveries of the Polestar 3 are slated to begin in the second quarter and the company is celebrating by slashing prices as well as announcing a new entry-level variant. When the crossover was originally introduced in 2022, Polestar said the Long Range Dual Motor variant with Plus and Pilot packages would begin at $83,900. That figure would climb to $89,900 when the Performance Pack was thrown into the mix.
It enables the crossover to accelerate from 0-60 mph in five seconds and travel 315 miles on a single charge. The latter figure is 15 miles more than earlier estimates.
