Lucid is keeping its Air Grand Touring electric sedan fresh with a few minor upgrades for the 2024 model year.The Air Grand Touring is now equipped with the heat pump from the Sapphire model.There are also updates to the motors and battery, and charging speeds are 15-30 percent faster than before.Lucid Motors burst onto the scene with the Air sedan, its first car, for the 2022 model year.
That is the highest range estimate of any EV on sale in the U.S. right now, although it requires speccing the 19-inch wheels. While numbers aren't out yet for 2024, the 2023 Grand Touring with the 20-inch or 21-inch wheels had a 469-mile estimate.The range is helped by updates to the powertrain inspired by the technology found in the Sapphire.
