has been teased for the better part of a decade already, but it's only been a couple of years. Still, we already have a good idea of what to expect, and now a Kia survey sent out to current Telluride owners may have revealed even more about the upcoming flagship SUV.
We know Kia is targeting a range of around 300 miles in at least one configuration built on the Electric Global Modular Platform shared with Hyundai and Kia, and we know that the EV9 will sport an optional three rows of seating for up to at least seven inside. Back in August, the EV9 was said to be undergoing its final phase of testing before production at Kia's global Namyang R&D center in Korea., we can guess a little more.
The 200 hp models start at $56,000 for 220 miles of range and $61,000 for 290 miles of range. The cheapest model gets a zero-pound tow rating, while the next level grants up to 2,000 pounds of towing capacity. The 400 hp models are a little more complicated. Starting at $63,000 for 260 miles of range, the first trim gets a tow rating of 3,500 pounds, 19-inch wheels and seven seats. For $68,000, the next trim gets 240 miles, 3,500-pound tow rating, 20-inch wheels, and seating for only six.
The longest-range model is the slowest at 8.9 seconds to 60 mph, and the range-topper the quickest, getting there in 5.2 seconds. We expect the EV9 to be revealed in the first quarter of 2023.

Right……
ZacksJerryRig Could you do a bend test to that car?
If the seats fold up or come out, its the Element 2.0
That looks nice
Screw EV's
Decent tow
LOL- “great” picture. Does it defy the laws of physics by having no battery or structure too?
Would that thing pass the standard crunch tests? Hmm. I am not buying it. (sic)
Decent tow rating is expected, decent towing range is impossible.
