Basic economics, raising minimum wage creates inflation. As a small business owner, I promise you, if i have to pay my employees $50 an hr, erebody gonna be paying $30 for a chop brisket sandwich..

All Democrats want to do is raise taxes which absolutely destroys the middle class. Don’t try to tax the rich because when you do it always falls to the middle class.
The first step is higher minimum which sets the floor for a basic living standard. 2nd you set top marginal rate at 70% or higher to set the ceiling. I personally think with with the level of inequality now we need mid to high 90%. Then give really support to worker organizing.

The problem is all of the VP, assistant VP, CEO, COO. They are asking an unreasonable amount capital from a hospital, university, etc. We need to bring their incomes back into reality and pay the people who actually do the work.
Earning $50/hr isn't a sexy platform this cycle. Some creativity is required to stand out. Telling us why we are already owed $50/hr plus interest, for life? Now you'll get some Twitterverse attention.
