Two people were taken into custody for questioning after a 16-year-old boy was fatally shot Saturday night at Millennium Park in the Loop.
At least five other teenagers were wounded in shootings across Chicago since Friday evening. Three of the five were wounded within an hour early Sunday morning. About 10 minutes later, a second 16-year-old boy and a 57-year-old man were standing on a sidewalk in the 700 block of South Albany Avenue about 2:30 a.m. when they were struck by gunfire, police said. The teen was taken to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to the right leg, police said. He was listed in serious condition, officials said. The man was shot in the right arm and taken to Mt. Sinai, where he was in fair condition, police said.
