Police received calls of gunfire in the area of Commonwealth Avenue and Division Street around 1:52 p.m.
Police told the suspects to surrender and when they did not comply a K9 was deployed. The K9 was shot by at least one of the suspects, JSO says, and was airlifted to the veterinary center in Jacksonville Beach.
How hard do we have to make it difficult for law enforcement to do their duties. Not talking lllpolice brutality, that’s a reality also. And totally unacceptable!. But when you have some one braking into your home, armed , who else is willing to put their lives on the line?
