'The gross negligence of these Defendants combined to fire a bullet into their own occupied home and kill their friend,' the district attorney says.

The Lebanon County district attorney says two people's negligent use of a handgun killed their roommate. Mariam Saadoune , 20, is charged with involuntary manslaughter, and Guillen Fabian-Garcia , 25, is charged with recklessly endangering another person in connection with the shooting April 10 in the 700 block of Lehman Street in Lebanon .The district attorney said Fabian-Garcia was showing Saadoune how to handle a gun safely. He allowed her to eject the loaded magazine and pull the trigger.

When Saadoune pulled the trigger, the gun was pointed at a closed door.The district attorney said the live round still chambered, went through the door, and hit Hector Pomales-Torres.
