The SCSO said it worked with Lynnwood police and Homeland Security. The two suspects were arrested at a home on the 6500 block of McKinley Avenue in Tacoma, according to the SCSO. One of the men was booked into Snohomish County jail for 11 counts of burglary and six counts of theft, and the second suspect was booked for 12 counts of burglary and seven counts of the theft, the SCSO said.Since November, the two 34-year-olds have been linked to a dozen burglaries in the Snohomish County area, the SCSO said.
Detectives referred an additional six counts of burglary and three counts of theft for a 24-year-old man who was already being held in Snohomish County jail on charges related to this investigation, according to the SCSO. The group targeted Asian and East Indian homeowners, "with the belief that they keep large sums of cash and jewelry stored in their homes. Detectives believe the suspects are finding victims through locally owned small businesses and open-source databases by running a name query," the SCSO said.
