19 First Alert Day: Severe storm threat later this afternoon and early evening

Forecast is for a fast moving round of severe storms later this afternoon into early evening. There is a tornado threat.CLEVELAND, Ohio - A cold front will be tracking through the area late this afternoon and early evening and this is the time when a fast moving round of strong to severe thunderstorms will be happening. The team is ready. Scattered showers this morning will be moving out. It is going to be a warm day with high temperatures in the 75 to 80 degree range.

Storms will likely fire west of our area this afternoon then race east. There is the possibility of spin in these storms, so we can’t rule out a tornado. It is important you stay on top of the weather conditions later this afternoon for possible severe storms. The storms move out this evening and the rest of the night should be dry. A mostly cloudy morning tomorrow then the clouds break up by afternoon.
