A 17-year-old is in custody after police say he shot and injured two teenagers Friday morning in west Oak Cliff.
Joshua Acevedo is facing two charges of aggravated assault, Dallas police said. It’s unclear whether he has an attorney. Police said officers were called around 9:50 a.m. to the 400 block of Hartsdale Drive, near West Davis Street and North Westmoreland Road, and found a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old with gunshot wounds.
Both were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said. Their names were not released.Catherine Marfin.
