For the ninth consecutive year, Guinness World Records partnered with the Toronto Marathon to give runners a chance to put their names in the record books, by claiming world best-times in some pretty unique categories—everything from speediest half marathon dressed as a fruit to the fastest marathon dressed as a supervillain.
I can see the appeal of running as a banana but if an apple won it in NY it'd be a turnip for the books.
