The fire broke out in the basement of a home on 147th St. in the Kew Gardens Hills section at around 2 p.m.One of the injuries was considered serious.
The other 13 were considered minor. The FDNY reported that it appeared that all of the injured were children.The fire marshal was investigating and more details were expected to be released at a later news conference.
