13-year-old who wrote essay on gun violence killed by stray bullet in her home

Sadly, this is not the first child killed by gunfire while in their home in Milwaukee in recent memory. Equally disturbing, it's unlikely anything will be done to prevent it from possibly happening again.

The love Americans have for their guns is beyond common sense. It's simply ridiculous. Especially when the so-called 'Christians' aggressively defend the right to bear arms. USA is a very sick country.

We’ve had killings of some of our future leaders in STL that have spoken out against violence that were targeted. It makes me wonder how ‘stray’ the bullet was. Either way, it has to stop.

Your words might lead the uninformed to believe a bullet exited a gun, wandered around until it found an innocent victim. Where is the in-depth examinal of the person in control of the gun. There you find the resposibility.
