A 13-year-old boy is accused of capital murder in connection with a deadly carjacking on the North Side. The teen, who was not identified in a San Antonio police report released Monday, is also facing charges of felony evading arrest, unlawfully carrying a weapon, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and had a warrant out for his arrest. Before 3 p.m. on Saturday, investigators said the teen tried to steal a vehicle while Muhammad Khan Pazir, 65, was still sitting inside.

A while later, officers tracked the stolen car to an apartment complex in the 10300 block of Sahara Drive. Covert detectives began watching the vehicle and saw four males get inside. Officers attempted to pull over the vehicle as part of a traffic stop, but the driver tried to elude the officers.
