I had one with my first and it made things more difficult. I had gas only for my other two and their birth stories are perfect.
They had to stick me 3 times to get it right (GD teaching hospital) but I would do it again.
My labor wasn’t progressing well until I got the epidural. Then I was able to relax and my body did it’s thing.😁 But every woman should do what’s right for her without judgement.

My friends told me if I hoped to enjoy my birth experience at all - GET THE EPIDURAL. I did! My birth experience was wonderful. Pain free but I could still feel things.
