and three others were taken to the hospital after being found trapped Saturday in a boxcar near Eagle Pass, Texas.U.S. Border Patrol found 12 migrants inside the boxcar Saturday in a Union Pacific rail yard, a spokesperson for the railroad company confirmed to Axios. "The U.S. Border Patrol searched and found the people after one of the individuals in the car called 911 emergency number," the spokesperson said, who added that the incident occurred around 4:30pm.

Texas Police: Migrants Found ‘Suffocating' in Train; 2 DeadPolice in South Texas say that two migrants have been found dead and at least 10 have been hospitalized after authorities received a call that they were “suffocating” in a freight train car traveling near the U.S.-Mexico border. The Uvalde Police Department says Border Patrol was informed of the phone call and able to stop the train Friday. Police say about 15 migrants were found inside. The condition of all of those hospitalized was not immediately known.
