Rogers and Santiago worked together to spotlight new brands and budding designers with diverse backgrounds in addition to their slate of luxury fashion houses and vintage finds.

“There were so many people that we found through Instagram and that we collaborated with and we reached out to that gave us things to use and things that we purchased,” said Santiago, usingas an example of a Brooklyn-based Black designer they discovered on the photo-sharing service, whose hats appear in the series.

“He can make a hat...You give him the hat size. And it was just incredible. It was like having a private milliner, a custom milliner right down the street from the studio. I was just wowed,” Rogers said of falling in love with Patterson’s designs.
