According to HFD, there were approximately 100 firefighters on the scene trying to contain the flames. In an update, Houston fire officials said the fire was contained but expect firefighters to work overnight to ensure it does not grow again. Officials did not elaborate on how the fire began but said arson does plan to conduct an investigation.
Houston fire officials told ABC13 there is no concern for air quality, but it will be monitored overnight as a precaution.
